Our Story

Our Journey So Far

VOKS Radio Amsterdam was born from a vision: to amplify the voice of the Indonesian diaspora in the Netherlands and beyond. With around 1.7 million Indonesians living in the country, nearly 10% of the population, there was a need for a platform that truly reflects their stories, culture, and spirit.

Founded in 2024 by Mr. Bambang Pranoto, the visionary behind the Sanga Sanga Huis wellness brand Sanga Sanga, VOKS Radio Amsterdam is more than just a radio station. It’s a cultural bridge and a networking hub for Indonesians abroad. We provide a space where the community can connect, share, and grow. From business promotion to meaningful conversations, our programs celebrate identity, creativity, and collaboration.


As part of the VOKS Radio Network, which broadcasts across Indonesia, we bring the warmth of home to listeners far from it. Through voice, we carry culture, reviving it, reimagining it, and uniting Indonesians across generations and geographies.
